2 days tour from Marrakech to Zagora Desert takes you on a magnificent desert journey throughout Morocco’s fascinating Zagora desert. Starting at the world-famous red city of Marrakech, you will travel through amazing villages and destinations throughout the impressive High Atlas Mountains and the Draa valley.

DAY 1: Marrakech – Atlas Mountain – Ait Ben haddou – Draa valley – Zagora (Marrakech Zagora Tour)
For this 2 days Zagora desert tour, we will start by picking you up from your accommodation in Marrakech at 8 am and start heading towards the great High Atlas Mountains. The drive through the small Berber villages and their green fields will mesmerizing as we cross the highest mountain pass in Morocco: the Tizin Tichka pass (2260 meters high). Our first stop of the day will be at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, which is a world-famous historical Kasbah that served as a filming location for many international movies, series, and photoshoots.
After we are done with that, we will head to the nearby Ouarzazate, also known as the Hollywood of Morocco, to have lunch and get some rest. Moving on with our adventure, we will start driving along the north-eastern side of the Anti Atlas region where we will have many stops to admire the gorgeous landscape of the area. After a quick stop at the village of Agdez, we will continue crossing the Great Draa Valley which will give you the chance to discover Morocco’s biggest palm tree plantation.
2 days tour from Marrakech to Zagora Desert
In the early evening, we will arrive at Zagora desert dunes, where you will get to mount and ride a camel through the desert while the sun is setting in the sky. Then our camels will lead to the desert camp hidden away in between the dunes, where we will be spending the night. You will get to enjoy a traditional meal for dinner, while Berber music is playing to entertain you in the background. Finally, you can stargaze or meditate while enjoying the silence of the desert, while stars and constellations are lighting up the night sky.
P.S: if you prefer to spend the night at a camp with showers. And hot running water, it will cost an additional fee.
DAY 2: Zagora – Agdez – Ouarzazate – Tizi Ntichka – Marrakech (Marrakech Zagora Tour)
This morning you will be woken up by your desert guide in order to watch the early. Morning sun deposit its first rays on the desert dunes, in a scene that can only be described as heavenly. After this, we will again ride the camels back to our vehicles, in a scenic trip through the desert dunes. Then we will once again head to Ouarzazate city, to have lunch and visit the Kasbah of Taourirt. Finally, we will be on our way back to Marrakech which we will reach in the evening. Our tour officially ends once we drop you off at your accommodation.
