Itinerary: Marrakech Sahara Tour 4 Days
Marrakech Sahara Tour 4 Days will take you on a magnificent desert journey throughout Morocco’s famous Erg Chebbi, starting at the world-famous and colorful Marrakech city. Your itinerary will include some must-see locations such as the historical Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the High Atlas Mountains, the Todra gorges, the Erg Chebbi desert, and finally the Draa valley.

- Spending one or multiple nights at a genuine traditional Riad.
- Exploring the filming sites at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.
- Journeying/hiking through the High Atlas Mountains.
- Camel trekking through the desert from the town of Merzouga.
- Spending the night in traditional tents at a desert camp.
- Crossing the great Draa Valley.
1st Day: Marrakech – Tizi NTichka – Skoura – Rose Valley – Dades Gorges
For this 3 days desert tour, we will start by picking you up from your accommodation in Marrakech at 8 am and start heading towards the great High Atlas Mountains. The drive through the small Berber villages and their green fields will mesmerizing as we cross the highest mountain pass in Morocco: the Tizi n Tichka pass (2260 meters high). We will then get to our destination of the day: Dades gorges, where we will be spending the night.
2nd Day: Dades Gorges – Bomalne- Todra Gorges – Tingdad- Erfoud – Merzouga (Marrakech Sahara Tour)
After waking up and having breakfast at the Dades valley, we will be traveling to Merzouga town the Todra gorges, which are the tallest and narrowest gorges in all of Morocco. You can enjoy a walk in the location along the clear and refreshing Todra River before we continue driving to finally reach the gateway of the Moroccan desert (Erg Chebbi): Merzouga. You will get to mount a camel and ride it through the majestic desert dunes during the sunset, before arriving at the desert camp where you will spend the night. At the camp, you will have dinner accompanied by a fun time with Berber music and dance.
3rd Day: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Tazzarine – Nkoub – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate (Marrakech Sahara Trip)
This morning you will be woken up by your desert guide in order to watch the early morning sun deposit its first rays on the desert dunes, in a scene that can only be described as heavenly. After this, we will again ride the camels back to Merzouga, in a scenic trip through the Erg Chebbi dunes. You will shower and have breakfast at a traditional Riad in the town, then we will leave for Rissani town to visit its famous marketplace (the biggest in the area). After that, we will start driving through the Draa valley, enjoying scenes of Berber villages such as Tazarine, before finally arriving at Ouarzazate city where we will spend the night.
4th Day: Ouarzazate – Kasbah Taourirt – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
For the last day of our tour, we will start by visiting the Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate, before heading to the nearby Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Ait Ben Haddou is a world-famous historical Kasbah that served as a filming location for many international movies, series, and photoshoots. Finally, we will be on our way back to Marrakech which we will reach in the evening. Our tour officially ends once we drop you off at your accommodation.
