Marrakech to Ait Benhaddou Day Trip, We will leave Marrakech and start traveling through the majestic High Atlas Mountains and with their small Berber villages and their surrounding greenery. After crossing the Tizin Tichka Mountain pass (2260 meters high), we will finally arrive at our first destination of the day: the Telouet Kasbah.
This is an important Kasbah historically. It used to be the residence of Pacha Glaoui, an old ruler of the area. After we are done exploring this Kasbah, we will cross the Ounila valley and continue driving to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. This is perhaps the most important historical Kasbah in Morocco. Pacha Glaoui built this wonder back during the early 20th century. Today, the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou is a UNESCO world heritage site. It was also a very famous filming site for many international movies such as The Mummy, Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, etc. Finally, we will end our Marrakech to Ait Benhaddou Day Trip late in the afternoon
