Itinerary Ouarzazate Merzouga Draa Valley 3 Days:
Ouarzazate Merzouga Draa Valley 3 Days will take you on a journey through Morocco’s majestic desert and iconic destinations, starting from the Hollywood of Morocco: Ouarzazate city, to the fascinating Erg Chebbi desert. Your itinerary will include some must-see locations such as the valley of Roses, Merzouga town, the Todra gorges, the Erg Chebbi desert, and finally the Draa valley.

1st Day – Ouarzazate- Skoura- Rose Valley- Dades Gorges:
After having breakfast in Ouarzazate, we will start crossing the famous valley of The Thousand Kasbahs, which received this name for being home to a lot of ancient and abandoned Kasbahs. Then after driving by the city of Skoura and the valley of Roses, we will get to Kalaat Mgouna city where we will stop to discover the Moroccan capital of roses. On this drive, you can check out the rose derived goods that are made by local cooperatives such as soap, perfume, and cosmetics. In the afternoon, we will get to the Dades valley where we will be spending the night at a local hotel.
2nd Day – Dades Gorges- Bomalne- Tinghir- Todra Gorges- Merzouga:
After breakfast at the Dades gorges, we will be traveling to another set of gorges: the Todra gorges. Quickly after that, we will be crossing the magnificent Ziz valley with its green scenery contrasting the red-orange rock formations. This will lead us to get to the towns of Rissani and Erfoud, which will be an indicator that we’ve almost arrived at our destination of the day.
After lunch, we will continue our journey to the Erg Chebbi desert dunes, by first getting to Merzouga town (the gateway to Morocco’s desert). This is where we will meet our camel caravan which you will get to ride through the endless desert dunes while the sun is setting in the sky. You will get an opportunity to catch many panoramic photos of the majestic desert landscape with the sunset, after which our camels will take us to the desert camp where we will be spending the night.
The time you will spend at the desert camp will probably be the most fun out of the entire trip. You will have a mouthwatering traditional meal for dinner while being entrained by Berber music and dance animations.
3rd Day – Merzouga- Rissani- Alnif- Tazzarine- Nkoub- Draa Valley- Agdez- Ouarzazate:
This morning you will wake up to watch the early morning sun deposit its first rays on the desert dunes, in a scene that can only be described as heavenly. After this, we will have traditional breakfast at the camp. Then, once again, we will ride the camels back to Merzouga, on a scenic trip through the Erg Chebbi dunes.
Once we get there, we will continue our desert journey by traveling through the great Draa Valley. Then, we will pass by many interesting Berber villages such as Tazarine and Nkob, where we will stop for lunch before continuing our way through the million palm trees of the Draa valley. Through this drive, you will also get to see many abandoned Kasbahs and traditional Ksars, contrasting a green oasis with their mud-brick colors. After driving by the village of Agdez, we will finally get to Ouarzazate where we will drop you off at your accommodation.
